The South Wales Food Laboratory Ltd is a privately owned, totally independent Laboratory, specialising in Food Microbiology and Food Quality Control. We provide a service 365 days per year, covering 24 hours per day when required, as we understand that food manufacturing is not a 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday business.

The Laboratory, which was established in 1987, has grown consistently by its ability to provide a unique combination of quality services. It currently services over 100 food manufactures. It is staffed by Food Technologists and Food Microbiologists and is definitely not an academic based business. Our expertise and services are aimed at coalface food manufacturing.

The Laboratory is fully Accredited by UKAS to ISO17025 Standard for a large number of analysis. Our current UKAS Certificate and scope can be viewed and printed from this PDF located here. UKAS Number 1915.
